LiveVideo
Of course, there already are websites out there with live video. Many people are on StickAm, and now - LiveVideo.com has Live Video! I watched parts of last weekend's San Francisco YouTube Gathering on LiveVideo, which is somewhat ironic!
I personally think pre-recorded videos like the ones on YouTube may have a wider appeal than live streaming video. Look at cellphones - you can "go live" and talk to friends, or you can send IMs and text messages for them to read and reply to at their leisure. The people I know seem to use texting more than actual phonecalls.
People had thought that StickAm and LiveVideo would draw people away from YouTube, but that never happened. The number of people participating on YouTube continues to grow. I guess live video on YouTube would be a nice new option, but I don't think it will eclipse the sharing of recorded videos. It will just be another way for people to communicate.
