Great article

I had a client who had alot of quality content but their conversion rate was low becuase they were getting traffic for crazy words that didnt match their core audience expectations.

Well thought out

Great insight into stop words for PPC. They are a must if you want to increase your conversion rate.

Sounds like Yahoo Can't Get It Right

Seems like yahoo is hoping advertisers will help out with their lackluster relevency alogrithim...

To optimize paid search campaigns negative keywords are a must. It's either lazy or foolish to allow engine algorithms to match without the use of negative keywords. Personally, I think it's great that Yahoo raised the limits. The next step for Yahoo is to raise the blocked domain limit from 250 to about 10,000.
