Wanderby.com just launched today they are going to add new things every month. They have less and lower fees then Ebay. You can even creat a profile at Wanderby like FaceBook

I have been reading posts and watching posts for a year now about how ebay and paypal are ripping us all off.I also have had my share of issues with them. I see all of you complain about the same thing,and I have the same complaints. Ebay thinks they want to cater to the larger seller? I think that the smaller sellers make up more of a population than the larger sellers. Take away all of the small sellers and they will be damaged,including to STOP using paypal. Ebay has quite a few fingers in the pie and are generating money from both. Ok people,whats it going to take? There also seems to be too many other competing auction sites popping up.Its a good idea to take your business away from ebay and take it somewhere else, but actually its not doing much good because there are too many now.I think the newer auction websites should join forces and build 1 GIANT to be able to compete with ebay.Think about it, the new site owners would need more help anyway if they grew larger so why not speed up the process. Give an equal partnership to each party? Remember,its greed that is destroying ebay as we speak and I dont think we should give ebay a second chance.They keep stepping on us like dirt.Its time we create a HUGE wind and blow some dirt into ebays face.
There,Ive created an idea now lets find a way to put it together. Ive been selling on onlineauction.com & havent tried any others yet.Its not moving fast enough for me like ebay did 10 years ago,ebay is even slow now.I will mention this idea to them and see if there is any feedback.You all could do the same with your auction sites.I hate to say this but,none of these sites will ever get as big as ebay has unless this idea is put into force.Ebay was the pioneer of its time and look at how long it took to get to this point.Can you wait all over again? I think not.The only way to beat ebay at their own game is to join forces and create a HUGE army of an auction website.It can be done.Or do you all not really care that much and prefer to keep paying ebay and paypal all of your hard earned money?

I quit ebay and it will take alot more than that before I go back to ebay. I now have my own website where I sell Amazon products, that means I make money off other peoples auctions. Plus I can list all the products of my own that I want, (I do not have to list them with Amazon) I just put them up on my website. I can also put all the affiliate links banners and digital products that I want on MY webpage and I get paid for it not Ebay. I have my own domain name so Iam building my own brand name and customer base. It was a turnkey website setup and ready to go when I started it, but with the online editor you get with it you dont need to know HTML or any programing to add your own products,banners, affiliate links, or digital products. I can change the site to look anyway I want its very easy to do. And I offer my costomers Free online games,news ,weather, sports and more. All for $20 a month. Why pay Ebays fees when you can have all of this and amazon will pay you to sell other peoples poducts along side yours , and you dont have to list anything on amazon if you dont want to? Jeepers, I didn't know Ebay was this crappy too. Paypal have build up a bad reputation from closing many of its members' accounts and keep the money from them for long.
What about the lot of people that would like to become an E-bayer if the fees would keep on rising? What does it help to "try" to make money with Ebay, while you aren't sure whether someone will buy from you, and at the same time should pay a monthly fee?

I'm a seller & a buyer - 50/50 but right now boy am i mad with ebay meddling with such a great format , i didn't realise thses changes were happening & right now i'm fully behind a boycott - christ sakes we are all stressed out enough already without this kick in the teeth !!

I have used ebay a number of times but the fees they charge are huge!!! The trouble is they are a big site and generate a lot of traffic and have massive branding...lets hope group power can help change there ways!

Ebay stopped taking the small seller serious and gave all the trust to the buyer, in such a way that now i cannot tell other sellers that some buyers hold you to ransom for full refunds or even worse....get to keep the goods and a refund in return for positive feedback. Ebay dont listen to small sellers just penelise them for being there.
So i opened my own store www.signdezine.co.uk and now do very well thank you ebay. If it wasn't for ebay getting the greedy bug i would probably still be with ebay, their greed and disrespect for the small seller gave me the confidence to go and do it myself with www.signdezine.co.uk I have only 1 regret and that is i should have done my own store years ago. Thank you ebay for giving me the confidence to move on.

It is true that eBay have been in decline over the past few months and this credit crunch has been bringing down bigger and better companies. You know what they say - "The bigger they are, the harder they fall".

I would be grateful to get feedback on e-DUDS.com, which is just a tiny auction website compared to eBay. If anyone has any ideas on how it could be improved, that would be wonderful. One thing I know is that we value our sellers as well as our buyers!! The customer always comes first!!

Google have it own payment system Google Checkout. Ebay has ban seller from accepting Google Checkout. Ebay consider it as threatening paypal business. If google can kick yahoo to number 2 spot. google can kick paypal and ebay to number 2 too. I use to sell at Ebay. I am no longer doing so. cause the ebay fee is expensive.

Not only is eBay ticking off it's regular customers, but it seems to be running through their affiliate program as well.

Commission Junction used to handle the eBay affiliate program, but now they've taken the program back and are handling it in house.

I've been listening to a weekly podcast that says now that eBay has taken over the program, they can't be trusted because these affiliates were making about $1,000 a month when CJ had the account. When eBay took it over, their sales went to zero for 3 months.

They can't believe how much eBay is killing the Golden Goose.

I sure hope they get their act together.

I gave up a few years ago on selling at e-bay. Moved to Yahoo and had some luck then it shut down. Moved to Bidville with less luck then it shut down (see the trend). I am now at Ecrater and having some succes.

E-bay is clearly focusing on large sellers. In the beginning it was the small sellers that made E-bay. I don't know if boycotts will affect e-bay but I do know they won't get anymore of my money.

Australian online auction house, Oztion ( http://www.oztion.com.au/?r=44021 ) is a great alternative with NO LISTING FEES and a small fee for sales. They can also provide great marketing tools as well.
