Earnings down for 6 months
Its been 6 months that my earnings have remained a half of the good times. Just not wroth continuing blogging in my niche any more. Suggest a better niche other than SEO/Money?
I have noticed cpc drop
I have noticed cpc drop quite fast after first adsense banner launch. I did this - and it really worked out - I dramatically lowered pageviews dedicated to adsense [from ~200k/day to 50k/day] and got quite the same eranings from reduced trafic. But it happened just once :) We'll see what will happen now, after I've launched big adsense campaign.

I have seen a HUGE drop as well. http://www.seowebinator.com is getting high quality adsense contextual ads with mediocre clicks, but I am more worried about http://www.LundList.com which gets approx. 2000 visitors a day, but no ad clicks...wierd! (and thats a HUGE site!)

my adsense
We have a small amount of adsense on a number of our sites but have seen little change in earnings...I beleive that the quality score system could be affecting revenues though as advertisers will pay less for better ads and landing pages..
Earnings
I have seen a slight increase overall, on adsense income. But it could be because I am always doing a little here and there. I read somewhere about "incremental progress". It seems like such a long way to go - but if you work just a little very day - on something - even if it is just adding a re-written PLR article, or getting a link or two, before you know it - your site is doing fabulously...
No Alternative
Problem is, there isn't any REAL alternative to google out there, sure there are others but not in the league of google - thing is, Google dont force anyone to participate in the scheme and anyone is free to leave at any time so I can't really understand why so many people winge about google being crap, particularly from those who have NO traffic, NO original content and NO desire to put as many hours into developing a site as it needs. Gone are the days of easy money from online advertising ... get with the program or get out of the webmaster scene :)

Yea may be because of the global crisis . Our Adsense earnings also shown a fall .May its may not be the problem of Google . There should be enough advertisers right ?? Now I am using Adsense with other services like Infolinks to make maximum out of my site .

free traffic is the only solution - At times like this, that brings us back to free directories which actually do get traffic to our site.
One of the directories justmemo.com actually says it will link to you on the homepage if you don't get traffic.
Melbourne clotheslines and adsense
As the owner of Melbourne clotheslines i havnt even bothered using adsense. What some ppl might be overlooking is that the global recession can hit online retailers too. Maybe this has something to do with it.
Content is King
Instead of complaining about google, you can do a couple things. Play by their rules and create more quality content to increase visitors and clicks. Than they give you some percent of some number which they won't tell you. Or go to another PPC system.
I've noticed a constant and continuos increase in my CTR.

my site earnings are also very low since last weeks . and i feel that whether google is adjusting his profit ratio from publishers undisclosed percentage of publishers revenue?
Is there any rules on revenue sharing for publishers? or any organisation is taking care of?

One of my freinds told me the other day that his traffic has increased but his CTR went way down. He is making half as much as he used to make.

Hard times, people always want more and want to pay next to nothing for it. People need to be more honest a share around :-) maybe one day we will see sense - I hope!?
