I fully agree that monitoring is the best solution for parents with teens. In my household we focus on educating our son & daughter, and teaching them responsibility by using a Monitoring Software called BeAware - it lets them know they are being monitored, and we use it to discuss potential issues instead of just trying to block questionable sites from them. Monitoring is a way for us to stay involved with their online lives.
