feeling forgotten in SWLA and would like possible impact here

I live in Lake Charles La. And everyone keeps forgetting that Rita hit Cameron and Calcasieu parish and did a lot of damage. We are now facing this again. Katrina is the only hurricane that is ever mentioned when it comes to La because of the damage in Nola. Even though this hurricane seems to be acting more like Rita did right before it hit. A lot of people here believe that we are forgotten when it comes to damaging hurricanes. I do understand that there was a lot of damage from Katrina its just we would like to know from yall on the weather station believe could be the amount of damage possible around here and not just about nola. Is there any way possinle yall could tell us what my be in store for us also when you mention nola. A lot of people around here would really like to know because we are still very much still recovering in these 2 parishes also. Thank you for reading this and I hope you may be able to help us also.
