Google Earth Secondsite Moves Ever Closer

With the recent unveiling of the Google Earth Plugin and API  mash ups and new services are becoming ever closer. It just a matter of time  for  Google to give users total virtual submersion.  Of course this is probably a platform that would be client based once again, however, this new API is making people think of new ways to use the tech.

There is also another alternative called i-Citizen

I like to add that a new virtual world by the name of i-Citizen out also. It came out at the end of March 2008 what’s interesting about i-Citizen is that it came out on mobiles first. In fact it is the world’s first virtual world for mobile handsets with a PC version due out in Q2 2008. It is quite good considering the limitation on mobiles and the PC version is quite huge. If you like to check it out you can get a download on you mobiles browser or web from http://wap.icitizencommunity.com or visit http://www.micazook.com for it.

second life

This type of technalogy could be used to open a whole new world for pepole to see the wonders of the world via a computer.
