Google Earth Secondsite Moves Ever Closer

With the recent unveiling of the Google Earth Plugin and API mash ups and new services are becoming ever closer. It just a matter of time for Google to give users total virtual submersion. Of course this is probably a platform that would be client based once again, however, this new API is making people think of new ways to use the tech.

There is also another alternative called i-Citizen

I like to add that a new virtual world by the name of i-Citizen out also. It came out at the end of March 2008 what’s interesting about i-Citizen is that it came out on mobiles first. In fact it is the world’s first virtual world for mobile handsets with a PC version due out in Q2 2008. It is quite good considering the limitation on mobiles and the PC version is quite huge.
