Microsoft Office or Google Apps?

We must try new things.

I do not agree with what Jason said: "i go for ms , simple said..google should stick to what its good in." I'm thinking exactly the opposite way. Why shouldn't we evolve, why shouldn't we test our intellect in new domains. It's a good thing to explore new possibilities and to try new things. It's the best proven way to evolve...

Google Apps

We have been using Google Apps for about six months. We are exploring more ways to coordinate projects with our commercial photography clients and it is showing promise. Since we are a really small firm (<10 persons), our approach to it is much easier. Now that we are working out our deployment we are happy with it. Perhaps not ecstatic, but it sure beats juggling e-mail collaboration.

Google Apps

I've used Google Apps. And it's becoming a trend for businesses in Asia. The issue is probably only company privacy.I just can't figure out why MS didn't think ahead on this.
Maybe they did , but too late in actions.
Google now is all over MS.It's a battle to the end.

google office.

With respect are you saying that Google OFFICE
is better,than Microsoft>

Google Apps

I'm not saying it is better, only that it is worth considering. It depends on what the business needs of its workers. In a larger enterprise, everyone may not need the big MS Office guns, especially those workers whose jobs involve lots of customer contact.

Google Apps is an option, not a cure-all.

i go for ms , simple

i go for ms , simple said..google should stick to what its good in.

Google Aps

I'm not a fan of online applications even though there may be some significant benefits to having them there.
First of all, I like owning my favorite applications and having them on my laptop so no internet connection is needed to use them.
Secondly, I don't like the idea of storing my files online whether they contain sensitive, confidential or general information.
To me, it looks like a new battlefield for MS and Google with Adobe and others eventually joining the fray. For sure it opens the marketplace to their applications to people who may otherwise not have them which is the marketing strategy that spawned online applications in the first place. I for one, will be very slow to embrace the technology.

I've been using Google Apps

I've been using Google Apps more and more each day. I miss some of the functionality of Office and excel, but I've been able to work around it so far.
