Free Broadband Isn't Really Free

free broadband isn't really free

In your artical two things stuck on me. The first was about a $10.high speed offered by AT&T. I would like to know where that is as the lowest price offered I have seen Is $14.99 per month and this is for 768 bytes. The other thing was the millioins of dollars the phone companies got that was supposed to build the broadband network. I believe it was 200 million. We have been paying for this kind of garbage for years and years and been getting squat from the phone co's except bigger monopolies. They need to be cut off untill they do what they have already been paid for. There is no broadband where I am . No dsl, No cable, And the cost of satelite broadband is far to high.

wireless broaband cool even at slower levels

Even dsl level wireless -- available anywhere -- would be cool if it were free. free of cables and free of cost. and for people trapped on dial-up, M2Z would be a huge step up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-suBBM83MKk
