The Death of the Rate Card

Death of Rate Card

Dave, you are 100% correct. But I also think some of the blame falls on sales management. The don't really know how to price the product. Why would anyone spend over $5.00 to place an ad in a dying media? You would be better off placing an ad with Google Adwords or using one of the free social networks that many of the radio companies have set-up over the year. By the way the same holds true for radio & T.V.

David - I couldnt agree with you more, keep up the good columns!
