NBC Coverage of Live Earth Concerts
I was very disappointed with NBC's coverage of the Live Earth concerts. It has been announced that CNBC was one of the channels that was supposed to show the concert. Instead they showed infomercials all day long. Did anybody else find this peculiar or was it just me? I think CNBC finally showed a little bit of the concert in the evening, but not the 24 hour extravaganza that was promised. I was visiting my mother, and she only has a basic cable service, so it was apparent that the concert was not available to everyone. The local NBC station did not show the concert either. It's a shame because that meant that the concert wasn't reaching everyone that it needed to reach.
