I have a very vague memory of watching something similar to this unfold in an episode of “What’s Happening”…

I’m 32 now, so of course, I am much too young to have seen the original airing of that episode. It was the summer of ‘82 and I had just finished watching “I Dream of Jeannie” waiting for “Gilligan’s Island” (summer break re-runs of course on the local Fox affiliate before Fox was a real network). The tape-recorder down Re-run’s pants fell out while he jumped up and down after the final set….

After all of thee years and those poor Doobies can’t seem to get a break from pirates….
