Is 30 Too Old To Be A Web Visionary?

Thirty?

My oh my. People need to stop complaining. Thirty years of age is nothing. You're still young and letting yourself go has nothing to do with turning thirty...

30 year-olds have more sense

Jason
Thanks for setting the record straight. One issue, I think that more 20 year-olds can take the risk and so we see huge gambles. There are just more 20 year-old gamblers and it gives the impression that they as a whole might be smarter. Enough monkeys in a room...

I do agree

Roger,

I do agree with you. Experience always counts.

heh

that's a really interesting point, Roger...the same reason they get big car insurance bills...

I have 2

With 2 College students I know that insurance pain all too well.

I find it funny that Marcus deleted his original post. Too much flack?

This goes in my "How a blog can be bad for business file"

great post

hi Jason,

Great post and round up of what have been said on the matter. I was just eating my breakfast, having a cup of tea (I'm in the UK lol) and this post really made me laugh.

I'm 30 next year myself, I think my ideas and creativity in my early 20s were crazy and iratic. Now in the last year of my twenties (as a single mother to a 3 year old and 4 jobs later..)I have good ideas, I feel confident in what I'm saying and can actually execute an idea. But I must agree that with my naivety I also lost some of the creativity. Real life kind of stops you even thinking about that crazy idea..

Have a great day =)

Cheers,
Lisa

thanks

Thanks for the kind words, Lisa, and glad you identified. The best way I've found to deal with the naïveté/creativity drain is to ratchet up the crazy as much as possible. I've done a good job so far, I think. One day I'll be rich enough to be able to afford eccentric.

Cheers back atcha.
