Am glad that Google is in Kenya

I am glad that Google is making an impact in Africa through Kenya. I think the reason the that they decides to base in Kenya is the imminent growth in the ICT infrastructure and the political stability as compared to other neighbouring countries not forgeting the literacy level as compared to the countries in the region

you shouldn't be surprised

You shouldn't be surprised. Go to any top college in the US that offers full scholarships e.g MIT and find out what percentage of the  African student body is  made up of Kenyans. You will find out that Kenyans are highly valued in these colleges. We're talking of citizens of African countries. Kenyan youngsters these days are highly competent, technically. Their only barrier is financial resources.
