EMI Drops DRM Restrictions On iTunes

The change is here, Apple

The change is here, Apple have finally assisted in helping major labels accept unprotected music & video.

My disappointment is that Apple will offer EMI no-DRM tracks in AAC & 256kbps?!?! I read about a uk company called 7digital who are seem to be first to take advantage of this change by selling super-group The GOod, The Bad & The Queen in MP3 & in 320kbps - www.7digital.com/GBQ

These smaller sites can take advantage of the iTunes stranglehold & encourage higher quality & interoperability.
