This is the same agency that helped Microsoft with campaigns that came to be known as "astroturf", as in a fake grass-roots campaign. They've been trying to pose as "just plain folks" for so long, and been caught at it so many times, I have to conclude that they do it a lot more often than we know about.

If they got caught every time, or if there was even a good chance of getting caught, they wouldn't keep doing it. I wonder what the ratio is of covert PR to genuine user reviews in the wild?
