What is the use of cell-phone payments? Cell-phone payments have existed in Estonia for years, but credit cards and good old cash is still preferred because paying with cell-phone is extremely uncomfortable. I remember when 10 (or maybe even 15) years ago most of the shops had slow Internet connections and when someone wanted to pay using credit card then it took almost forever and everybody in the line were cursing because of that, cell-phone payments are todays slow Internet connection - all this typing and verification just takes so much more time than regular credit card or cash payment that most of the people just don't use it. PayPal should really spend their time on some more urgent problem than playing with cell-phones - expanding their services to Estonia would be much more preferred.
