Relevancy in more important that every. Don't ust go out there and find get links on just any site. Look for sites that are high quality and are very relevant to yours.

And yes, mist up the keywords. Alot of people will think that this will keep them from ranking as high as they would like for their chosen keywords, but the fact is, Google will determine what your chosen keywords should be based on your content.
