Remove Rogue Desktop Icons Created By Spyware

Icons

My icons have changed into Microsoft Blue E's.

Rebooting would bring them back to normal for a while.  After running TweakUI Repair icons, they have become perminantly Microsoft E's.

I would like them back they were.  Examply a Red Y for Yahoo not another Blue E.

Is there something to change in the Regestry?  Like changing a 1 to a 0 or something?
