When Clients Don't Pay, Pay Late...and Other Anomalies of Freelancing

Collection agency

Curtis, thank you for your suggestion. We found some great information at http://www.controldatainc.com/collectionrates.html. We started using CDI collection agency and they had collections the very next week. Thanks again for the info

Collections

Another alternative to collections, would be to include a clause in your contract that calls for collection costs or attorney fees. Collection agencies often times have better results and our fees can be added into the cost of collections making our services completely free as long as your contract calls for those fees to be paid by the consumer.
