couple mistakes
the linux program you are probably thinking of is Kismet, not Cismet. to my knowledge, EAP is not an encryption type, at least not one that is employed for wireless communication, and you might have meant WPA/WPA2, which comes now on most routers and is many times more secure than WEP.
you need an edit button
also, you list several steps that can be taken but do nothing to speak of how to do this short of look at the configuration page. Where does a user find out their MAC address? Their routers password?
Using misleading terms like "cloaking your SSID" i rather offensive as well, since it's totally wrong. Stopping your router from broadcasting an SSID means it doesn't broadcast it, not it shields or covers it up. the only way to connect to it then is if you know what the SSID is. picking out and emulating a MAC address doesn't take crap for time either, it's as simple as a setting with the right program.
My advice is to limit the number of DHCP clients your router gives out, that way any wardrivers must have a statically/manually set IP address, which may or may not be in your subnet range to connect. Most routers out of the box are set with a very high or unlimited number of DHCP clients, which is a big security risk. Also, change the addressing range while you're here, the less default factory settings you can get along without the better. Any kind of hacker is dependent to an extent on systems being the same or laid out in a similar fashion, so the more unfamiliar you make your setup, the better. this is a simple setting on most routers and is listed with the other DHCP settings.
Honestly, the best wireless security is to use a wire, plain and simple. And the best network security you can use is to not use a network (ie. the Internet) at all. simple.
