im having trouble

Its really hard to get links for new sites its driving me mad. Ive added my site to lots of directorys should i add it as www.greenteastore.co.uk or http://www.greenteastore.co.uk or does it not matter. Any advice would be great.

Backlinks

Well you said "Google doesn't look at your back links page ranks to determine what yours is going to be. It simply looks at how many back links you have." This is just plain wrong im afraid. Sites that link to you with a higher Page Rank will give a bigger weighting to yours.

Never ever participate in any kind of link exchange program.Google will stop crawling your site and your site will never come to google index. Its there policy.

It's currently ranked with a 2, I'm a member at many forums and I have a link in my signature when I post to my game. Doesn't seem to be doing much for my ranking, and my game has been online for about a year now.
