Cinco de Mayo Design Absent From Google Logo

Cinco de mayo and Google Logo

If Google does not want to commemorate every holiday it is fine! They can do it on the local pages...at least the www.google.com.mx page could sport the logo. This way it will not antagonize those who want the logo and also those who don't want to support the logo!!

If Google had to decorate

If Google had to decorate for every victory some country had over another, it would get out of hand. Mexican Independence Day is one thing but you don't just celebrate a holiday because Mexico beat the French... hell I could beat the French.

And even though it's my birthday, I agree with the St. Patrick's Day thing... it's all about green beer. Just like I will be sipping the tequila tonight to celebrate May 5th.

And I like how it's automatically assumed it was a white guy who posted that comment. And no... America is NOT 50% mexican latinos.

lets add every single holiday in the world!!!!!!

Maybe its because Cinco de mayo is a stupid holiday that serves no purpose at all other than to close down streets and cause traffic jams for a bunch of people who should be in their own county right now. I wonder how big of a celebration cinco de mayo is in Mexico........

cinco de mayo

you idiot but your white ass wants to celebrate saint patty's day. cinco de mayo has a better purpose. look it up numb nuts........more that 50 percent of america is mexican latinos. research the holiday before you open your mouth.

could you please quote your

could you please quote your source that states that more than half of the american population is Hispanic. Sounds like you should do your own research before you open your mouth. And yes I do celebrate St. Patricks Day. It is a NATIONAL holiday in Ireland that is celebrated world wide, not a regional holiday in Mexico like that is not even declared important enough to create a national day off. But if you like to take a moment and wear a huge hat because it gets you out of a board meeting...then kudos to you.

I can't believe they did not

I can't believe they did not decorate the logo..AGAIN.this was brought to attention in 2004. by 2009, it should definately be there

Boo!! Google
