Ian was spotted shopping at Neil Lane about a month ago, sparking the first rumors of an impending proposal.
“Ian bought a vintage diamond eternity band for Nikki,” a source told Us Weekly in December. “It’s not a typical engagement ring but actually a wedding band you purchase for when you get married.”
Somerhalder hinted at a future with Nikki Reed in an Instagram post about a week ago. He captioned the post as follows:
