Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton broke up last month, but remained amicable and kept in touch with one another–until now. It seems Scherzinger’s friends convinced her it’s unhealthy to have such close ties with one’s ex, so Nicole and the Formula One racing driver are no longer communicating at all.
“I’m devastated that it didn’t work out. It was the hardest decision we had to make, but we made it together,” Nicole Scherzinger said at the time of the break-up.
“The split has been devastating for Nicole. She feels the only way she can move on is by putting distance between her and Lewis,” a source tells Yahoo NZ. “While their split was amicable, she and those around her feel it’s not healthy for them to remain friends.”

The former Pussycat Dolls singer has been working hard to distract herself from her broken heart.
“Nicole has been throwing herself into work, and having these trips in place has meant that she has been getting physical distance from the whole situation,” the source adds.
Right after Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton split, she headed to India to perform at a wedding–for big bucks. She is in Venice now on business, but is making a bit of time to enjoy the beautiful city.
