Nicole Kidman: Did She Overdo the Botox Treatments?

Nicole Kidman is coming under serious scrutiny since walking the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival where she touted her upcoming film Grace of Monaco. Ironically, she wasn’t scrutinized for her role as Grace Kelly, but rather for her Botox facial filler treatments. Kidman has reported in the past that she wished she’d been a bit more subtle with her treatments, and per the comments heard about the actress at Cannes, it’s a sure bet she should have been.

The wife of country singer and American Idol judge Keith Urban, the very lovely Kidman startled fans at Cannes with her unusually smooth and wrinkle free face. She also exhibited a slightly puffy look.

“Nicole has put filler on top of filler. She wishes she’d been more subtle,” a source reported to the British magazine Closer.

It seems that celebrity plastic surgeon Mark Ho-Asjoe thinks Kidman has undergone a very specific cosmetic procedure.

“It looks like Nicole has had a V-lift – a type of filler that’s injected into the cheek and lifts up the face,” he explained. “She appears to have had fillers in her eyebrows, as they look raised. She has no expression, which could be down to too much Botox.”

Mark said pretty much the same thing about Nicole Kidman’s fellow Australian singing star Kylie Minogue, who recently made a public appearance with an unusually arched right eyebrow. She, too, admitted to having tried Botox.

“When you have too much Botox, it changes the positioning of the eyebrow, which seems to have happened here with Kylie,” he added. “I’d say she’s probably had fillers, too. She just doesn’t look natural.”

Nicole Kidman is a beautiful woman. Why on earth she doesn’t simply allow herself to age naturally is no doubt beyond most people’s realm of understanding. When someone is as naturally pretty as she has always been, they will likely age with a certain grace and beauty that lasts a lifetime. When people who have had Botox or other cosmetic procedures continue their aging they take on an unreal appearance–akin to a clown or a scary creature.

Have you seen Nicole Kidman recently? Can you see how her features have changed recently because of these treatments?

Yuck – she look ridiculous – big old bubble forehead. Prince Grace was a genuine beautiful woman and Kidman does not even come close to playing the part – her husband Urban could have looked better as Prince Grace with a little stage make-up. Since she wasted her younger days with Mr. Cruise – she now has to keep up an appearance of looking as old as her adoptive kids Connor and Isabella. Since she’s now an older mother of two young children…she will have to keep up the Botox appointments so when she goes to their high school graduation in her 60’s she won’t embarrass the kids. Lets hope Keith and his music can carry them into retirement – her looks sure won’t or her acting ability.

Why do you all jump on the Nicole Kidman bashing wagon. It’s her face and she can do what she wants. She seems like a very caring person and she and her husband give to so many charities and seemed to love one another. You can’t actually say that about the majority of Hollywood stars now days and at least she got married, then had her children. She’s not the only woman to try and keep from aging. Even my beautician has botox injections, but it doesn’t keep me from letting her do my hair and caring about her! And Debbi, she can’t help having a high forehead. The pictures I’ve seen of her Dad, he has a very high forehead and Nicole looks a lot like him. How sad that people feel like they have to criticize and ridicule artist just because they are in the spotlight!

Bekuz doing certain things to your body with chemicals leaves your body looking “worn” and its not a good image to display to younger girls who may look up to you. From what I’ve seen, most ladies already have very fragile self-esteem/depression issues. Socioty is teaching people not to be komfortable in their own skin -at the end of life, thats not healthy. For anyone.

I agree . Nicole is gorgeous. I would like to caution her though… Please do not fall into the “cosmetic improvement trap. All is takes is one error and YOUR natural beauty can be destroyed forever. Stay as lovely as you are and do it NATURALLY. uSE GOOD CLEANSERS AND MOISTURIZERS AND STAY OUT OF THE SUN. Get good sleep and eat proper food. Then whatever natural aging takes place will only enhance your beauty. You will not look like a swollen and puffed up cosmetic disaster. Look at Keith and Smile..both of you be happy together and your radiance will shine. Luv you both and wish you much happiness for a long time.

I feel sorry for actresses who feel they have to take extreme measures to look younger.
