  • Nick Gordon was not permitted to attend the funeral of the woman he loved, Bobbi Kristina Brown. Nick Gordon has been accused by some of abusing and finally killing Bobbi Kristina. But last week Nick Gordon was photographed visiting the grave of his love.

But now there are accusations that Nick Gordon was there by arrangement, that he was paid to weep at Bobbi Kristina’s grave. Page Six says his “secret pilgrimage” to visit her final resting place was a ruse.

Page Six reports that Nick Gordon was paid $40,000 for photos and video of his graveside visit, a very specific amount of money. They say that the Enquirer paid Nick that sum, then licensed the use of the material to Entertainment Tonight.

“It was not by accident that Nick was photographed at the site,” an insider said. And tabloids say that the money is going to Nick Gordon’s “legal defense fund” to pay his legal team to defend him against accusations that he killed Bobbi Kristina.

“Nick is broke,” the insider said. “He can’t afford to defend himself. There was a deal for that money to go to his defense fund.”

Gordon is up against a $10 million civil suit brought by Bobbi Kristina’s conservator, which claims that Gordon got Bobbi Kristina drunk with a “toxic cocktail” and “put her face down in a tub of cold water, causing her to suffer brain damage.”

What about these rumors that Nick Gordon was paid $40,000 for pics at Bobbi Kristina’s grave?

A rep for Nick Gordon shot back, “This is completely fabricated.”

A rep for The Enquirer then took a swipe at their rival publication, saying, “I would also like to add, Page 6 [sic] isn’t a trusted source in news.” The National Enquirer, more than any other publication, has been unflinching in our reporting of the mysterious circumstances surrounding the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown.”

Gordon’s lawyers said in a statement that the lawsuit against Nick Gordon was “slanderous and meritless.”

“Nick has been heartbroken and destroyed over the loss of his love and it’s shameful that such baseless allegations have been presented publicly,” the statement read. “Nick has engaged civil counsel and intends to defend the lawsuit vigorously and expose it for what it is: a fictitious assault against the person who loved Krissy most.”
