New Far Cry 3 Trailer Previews Co-op Campaign

By: Sean Patterson - November 27, 2012

It’s another day, and another Far Cry 3 trailer has been released. The release of the game in Europe and Australia is only two days away, and Ubisoft is determined to have released a trailer covering every aspect of the sandbox shooter. Yesterday’s trailer delved into the map editor that players will be able to use to create their own islands and challenges to share with the Far Cry 3 community.

Today’s trailer provides a glimpse at Far Cry 3’s co-op campaign, which is wholly separate from the single player campaign. Up to four players will be able to take on the role of separate characters, including the foul-mouthed Scottish thug Callum, who narrates the trailer. Players on any platform can play co-op online, but those who play the game on the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 will get the now-rare opportunity to enjoy the campaign with a split-screen mode.
