  1. After recent events like the Carrier IQ scandal and the security loopholes in Google Wallet, this year has definitely shown that it pays to be honest with your customers. While Carrier IQ caused an incredible amount of backlash for carriers, Google earned some respect by being upfront about Google Wallet’s security flaws. These events, like the Netflix case, have shown that it really is worthwhile to be upfront with your customers – or you could end up paying a hefty $9 M.

    I had to cancel for almost a year and when I came back to Nextflix I was really happy that they saved most of my information.

    Where do I sign up so I can get my share??? My stuff was kept and when I signed back up it was still there.

  4. Wow. I feel pretty bad for Netflix over this one.

    Saving that information is mostly for the customer’s benefit so when they resubscribe they don’t have to start all over generating a profile for helping suggest stuff to watch.

    Ugh.
