"The concept of empowering the worldwide MySpace audience to plan the most important and perhaps stressful day of one couple’s lives makes for great reality programming," said, Jason Kirk, VP of Video and Entertainment for MySpace.

"Endemol and MySpace will offer fans of Get Married on MySpace the ability to get involved and stay connected to the series, the bride and groom, and each other, in a way that no other reality series has ever done before."

Get Married on MySpace allows user to influence almost every detail of the wedding from casting the couple, selecting the bride’s dress, choosing the couple’s rings, and picking the wedding location, through ongoing voting. The series will consist of 13 webisodes, ending with a live wedding ceremony.

So MySpace is just copying what the Today show has done for years on TV?

Maybe they should have been a little more creative with their ideas!

If the average company or brand was having a better result, I’m sure we’d be getting real metric information about it. We aren’t really. (Outside of Dell.) I use Twitter and we got 157 visits from Twitter so far this month with a total number of followed of about 2,500. What other sort of metrics do you have to support this? What case studies have been done?

What a interesting concept. I don’t think I would like Myspace users
to have control over my wedding, but I’m sure it will be interesting to watch.

That’s crazy but it wuld be weird for someone to get married with someone else that they done know just seen a picture of them on a website they could look way different in person then on a picture.

I am looking for a husband and would like to get married again, why not this way. As for there looks you should not be judging by a pic judge by what your heart feels, talk to get to know them as much as you can, if you can go visit then great. But it should not be judged by a pic. Yes everybody changes. But if you were raised right then you would do it from the heart.
So any guys out there looking to get married then look me up. my name is Serenity and I do have a my space page.

Well all have a good day…….

Wow, i haven’t thought of getting married on myspace, but what a fun thing to do. I mean its way better than couples getting hitched in las-vegas. I would love to get married on myspace. Think about all the excitement my fiance and i could have. I think it would be a very loving caring nerve recking experience for both of us. Its something different, myspace is really getting popular. I love how they leave everything a secret until it gets closer to the wedding. i love being surprised, and know the people of myspace, they wont let us down. Wow the more i think about this and the more i watch the episodes make me really want to get married on myspace. My fiance and i haven’t decided on anything for our wedding and i would love the thought of the myspace community helping us out. I think this will be so much fun and adventurous.
