  1. I think Retweeting reflects how informal and rapid online communication has become. The need for information is immediate, and people don’t take the time to rephrase their own comments. I don’t have a problem with that, but I think it means the newer generations are going to lose key skill sets like writing.

Fixed! Thank you for pointing this out.

  4. I think there are some articles worth re-tweeting. If you know one or more of your followers is interested in something, or if you just want to spread information of the Tweet it is well worth re- tweeting. As far as lost writing skills, once you have them they are not lost. For others they were never learned.

  5. It seems to me that it is time for Google to find another way to determine what a good website is. Link popularity means nothing now with all the “tricks” of social media. I hope they give up their interest in how many back links a website has, it is meaningless now.

  6. Without retweets some valuable links or saying can go unseen by many. Some of the best tweets that I have seen were retweets. I am very grateful for people who retweet good information.

  7. Content always has been and will continue to be King.

  8. Interesting Article. This is a natural development of social networking for business development. I’m happy to retweet good information to counteract the crud online

  9. I think the concept of re-tweeting is a great thing. As many other people have already commented. It’s a great way to pass information, articles, sales on Blank T-Shirts, and more onto other people that might find it either helpful or at least interesting.

  10. Personally, I still see RT as one of the highest forms of compliments on the Twitterverse. As with anything online, it is always prawn to spammers and the likes so it is maybe time to find another way of passing along (how about that: PA – Passing Along – Instead of RT) liked Tweets.

    • Retweet is a wonderful feature which helps to an important and innovative information to be always alive to the twitterer’s. It like a ad for a best links and informations. Without Retweet many business models would not be known to world.

  11. Great info to know about rt, and it does create more exposure to your brand.
