  • This summer has seen and will see some intense sporting rivalries. The NBA finals just wrapped up, EURO 2012 saw Spain reaching its 3rd straight major soccer title. Wimbledon and the Tour de France are in full swing overseas. The Olympic summer games begin later this month. Yes, it’s a good summer for sports… as long as you don’t take it too seriously. And this year, with international politics and sports playing out side by side, the Major League All-Star Game will be a welcome light-hearted venture in the sporting realm.

This past weekend, the rosters were released for the 2012 Major League Baseball All-Star Game. TBS announced the members for the American and National League All-Stars at a selection show on Sunday. The show set the stage for the 83rd All-Star Game to be held on July 10 at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City. It will be good to see some world class baseball, without having to care too much about what the outcome will be. Look for your favorite players on the rosters below.
