Apparently, someone too young to know who the legendary rap artist is even tweeted that she was trying to be the next Nicki Minaj.

Twitter blew up during the half-time show, with many A-listers praising Missy Elliott's performance and it didn't take long for her to trend worldwide, with many tweeting that they thought Missy "made" Katy Perry's performance and the show.

The performance was just a meaningful to Missy Elliott, who tweeted her gratitude and joy, after being away from performing for so long.
