  • Miley Cyrus, the daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, has been known to shock the public with her crazy and outrageous behavior, such as twerking at the MTV Video Music Awards and constantly changing her hair. Recently, at one of the stops on her Bangerz tour, she adds another wacky happening to her list: kissing Katy Perry.

The Bangerz tour started earlier this month, showcasing Cyrus’ new album “Bangerz” and revealing new tracks off the album. From the information listed on MileyCyrus.com’s events page, the Bangerz tour started February 14th and visits various countries around the world.

According to The New York Daily News, the kiss between Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry happened on Saturday at Los Angeles’ Staples Center. As Cyrus was singing her new single “Adore You,” she crawled down off the stage to meet Perry (who was a guest in the front row at the Bangerz concert), and Cyrus quickly gave Perry a peck kiss, leaving Perry shocked of what just happened.

One of the attendees af Saturday’s Bangerz concert in Los Angeles was able to capture the Cyrus/Perry kiss on video from one of the front rows:

This is not the first time that two female celebrities have kissed in front of the public eye. At The MTV Video Music Awards in 2003, it was an unexpected moment when Britney Spears kissed Madonna.

One day after the Los Angeles Bangerz concert, Cyrus published a tweet containing a picture of the kiss. Perry also tweeted the day after the concert, stating “And after! I adore you @MileyCyrus” along with a picture of Perry’s reaction to the unexpected kiss.
