Miley Cyrus: Dad Billy Ray Cyrus’s Phone Pep Talk

  • Miley Cyrus got a pep talk of sorts via a phone text conversation with Billy Ray Cyrus. It appears as though the ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer needed a boost–or maybe even a kick in the butt–and Dad was right there to give it to her.

MTV reports that no one is really sure why Miley Cyrus was feeling down in the dumps, but credits her good judgment (and that certainly isn’t something Miley has always been known for using) for leading her to seek advice from her dad rather than lean on drugs, alcohol, and some rather unsavory people as she has in the past.

Miley took a screen shot of the text message and posted it on Instagram for all her fans to see. She captioned the following post, “I love my dad @billyraycyrus I think that’s why I love @waynecoyne5 he has so many of the same philosophy’s as my dada who is the most magical hillbilly wizard of all time.”

Miley Cyrus and her dad have been a pretty dynamic duo since before their days of starring together in Hannah Montana. While some might question the advice he has given his daughter on occasion, they’re lucky to have those close family ties.

Miley Cyrus recently tried her had in the art world as a collection of her pieces went on display during New York Fashion Week. One of those pieces was an embellished vibrator. Do you suppose Miley sought Billy Ray’s advice on that as well?

No one ever said Miley Cyrus wasn’t unique. She comes from a long line of uniqueness including her famous dad. Who doesn’t remember Billy Ray Cyrus rocking his sexy mullet as he sang ‘Achy Breaky Heart?’
