Most people saw it coming, but Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have finally went their separate ways. Their relationship seemed to be on a continuous downward spiral for months with rumors circulating left and right. Many people thought that Miley’s performance at the VMA’s would be the last straw and it turns out it was.
The couple has called off their engagement several times unofficially but this time it is official and has been confirmed by representatives of both young stars. Miley has even went as far as unfriending Liam on Twitter. In the celebrity world, that’s a pretty big deal.
Miley has seemed to be having an identity crisis lately. First her strange and disturbing performance at the VMA’s had everyone talking and then her raunchy Wrecking Ball photo made even some of her biggest fans cringe. It seems like the young star is on a quest for self-discovery, but she may be ruining her reputation and relationships in the process. Nonetheless, she has another album coming out this fall and plenty of other things to focus on beside her failing love life.
Liam should also be able to bounce back pretty quickly. He will be appearing in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire which is a sequel to The Hunger Games and will make its way to theaters this fall as well.
The couple have broken up and gotten back together so many times that it’s hard to tell if this one will be the last or not. It’s good to know that even thought their relationship might not have worked out, they still have careers and are young enough that they will both be able to find love again in no time.
