Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are floating on cloud nine right about now!
If Kunis' jaw-dropping ring is any indication of their status, its definitely safe to say they're engaged. For those who don't know, Kunis snapped a picture of a beautiful diamond on her wedding finger some time around the end of last month.
Now, fans are left wondering how the Two and a Half Men star popped the big question.
While the "onscreen-lovers-turned-real-life-couple" have yet to officially confirm the engagement, a number of media outlets have reported that Kutcher took the traditional route, doing "everything by the book." It has also been reported that Kutcher asked Kunis' father for her hand in marriage.
According to Yahoo! Celebrity, a number of inside sources close to the couple actually revealed some of the details behind their engagement. The publication reports that one insider claims Kutcher actually made arrangements to propose a few months ago.
"He talked with Mila's dad around Christmas time," an insider told People, adding: "He asked for Mark's blessing to marry her. It was important to Ashton to be respectful and traditional. This is the real thing for him and he wants to do it all right."
The source went on to explain that the couple has no desire for a long engagement. "They don't want to wait," the source continued. "This relationship started on solid ground and everything is working out. They are in it for the long haul, truly."
However, this isn't the first insider to share details about the couple's relationship. Back in December, one of Kutcher's business pals also hinted at Kutcher's plans to propose to Kunis. "Ashton and Mila have talked about getting married for quite a while," the source said. Another one of Kutcher's pals also chimed in. "They're incredibly happy together."
Before the engagement rumors began circulating, another insider gushed about the happy couple as well. "They are clearly very much in love, in tune with each other and so comfortable," an insider said back in September. "In some ways, it's like they're married already."
