Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher had a night out on Thursday night without baby Wyatt.

The couple attended a very normal sounding surprise birthday party for their friend and That 70’s Show co-star Wilmer Valderrama.

Valderrama’s long-time girlfriend, Demi Lavato, was the mastermind behind the surprise, and from the sound of it, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher had a really great time!

The party was at Palms Thai restaurant in Hollywood.

When Wilmer Valderrama walked in, the group of friends that gathered there shouted, “Surprise!” just like they were supposed to.

“He was laughing and saying that he had expected a quiet dinner,” a source tells People.

They all shared a family-style Thai dinner and had drinks.

Of course, after dinner, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, and the other guests enjoyed a cake that Demi Lovato had personalized for her sweetie!

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher were very relaxed and had fun at the party. They seemed to be making the most of their baby-free time together.

“They clapped and cheered when Wilmer blew out the candles,” the source said of Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher. “They acted very down to earth.”

After the candles went out, and in true Ashton Kutcher style, Kutcher led everyone in “For He’s a Jolly Good Fellow”.

“Ashton and Mila looked cute,” the source said. “They seemed to have the best time.”

I’m sure they really enjoyed relaxing with their friends! It has only been four months since the birth of their daughter, Wyatt Isabelle, into their lives.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have been super hands-on with their baby. Even before Wyatt was born, Mila Kunis was planning on scaling back on work to be able to care for her baby as much as possible.

Mila Kunis told W Magazine back in August of 2014, “I have never wanted to be the person who only has business on her mind.”

She added, “To me, this job has always been a hobby that turned into a great profession, but I don’t eat and breathe acting. I’m sure Meryl Streep has a very different point of view. But I’m excited about being a full-time mom.”

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher really seem to have this parenting thing somewhat under control.
