The IE8 campaign features commercials starring actor, and former Superman, Dean Cain as public service announcer.

2.) S.H.Y.N.E.S.S.

3.) F.O.M.S.

4.) G.R.I.P.E.S.

The ads are are geared for going viral, but behind the silliness Microsoft is trying to do some good. Microsoft says that if people download the browser through their new site, BrowserForTheBetter.com, they’ll donate eight meals to Feeding America.

It comes to something when Microsoft have to advertise the mighty and once immovable Internet Explorer. I thought they were funny though so better than any other adverts you’ll see.

The commercials are goofy, very funny, and one gross, but they get you to listen to the message.I already downloaded IE8 and I love it.I downloaded and it’s all because of Dean Cain’s commercials.Sorry for the plug, but he is the only reason I did that.I love your spokes person.(SIGH)

The commercials are funny and memorable but also informative. I learned about new features that I didn’t know about.

I just wish the Add Favorites dialog box didn’t always refer back to the root instead of the most recently used – like in IE7.
