Microsoft Running Behind?

    November 27, 2006

As we reported last week, Google, Yahoo! and MSN have come together to follow an uniform Sitemaps protocol.

However, the confusion that has lately prevailed is where to submit the sitemaps file for MSN. There is no parallel to Google Sitamps or Yahoo! Site Explorer for MSN so far. Last week Ken Moss, General Manager, Live Search had said that:

We are 100% behind this protocol – this kind of collaboration will help improve the search experience for all of our customers, and we are working hard to release full support in 2007. We are starting to alpha test with internal partners such as MSDN and Microsoft Support now.

Is that what Microsoft has in mind: 2007?
