Meghan Trainor of "All About That Bass" fame underwent surgery on her vocal cord on Tuesday. The singer-songwriter had to cancel her recent M Train tour because of a hemorrhage on the vocal cord.

Trainor, who recently has a top hit with Charlie Puth called "Marvin Gaye," shared before and after photos of herself with her fans via Instagram.

"My before and after pics. I look so hurt haha I survived tho! thank you Dr. Nasseri for being my hero. Now just napping all day long on the couch with mama and getting free head rubs. any movie suggestions?" Meghan Trainor captioned the following photos.

Meghan Trainor apparently suffered some after-effects of her surgery that left her a bit concerned.

Later on, however, she posted that she'd been back to her surgeon for a re-check and everything looks good.

Meghan Trainor has about six weeks of recovery ahead of her before she can resume singing.

Sam Smith recently had surgery on his vocal cords and is doing just fine.

Just prior to her vocal cord surgery, Meghan Trainor reached out to her fans.

Hopefully Meghan Trainor continues healing swiftly and successfully and is back to doing what she does best--singing for her fans--in no time at all.
