Megan Fox’s Twitter Foray Lasts Less Than a Week

Last Friday, super-hot actress Megan Fox made the plunge into the cavernous void that we all call Twitter. And after only a week on the service, she’s decided to call it quits.

The initial move to Twitter was announced on Facebook, where Fox is very active and boasts nearly 40 million likes. She said that she was launching a Twitter account “against her better judgement.”

She quickly racked up hundreds of thousands of followers (258,000+ as of today), but that wasn’t enough to keep her going. After just six days and fifteen tweets, Fox has announced the she hates it. She made the announcement on Facebook:

Megan Fox

Some of you may, or may not have noticed by now that my Twitter account has been shut down… I thought that 2013 might be the year that I finally blossomed into a social networking butterfly… but as it turns out I still hate it. Love you guys but I will just never be that girl. Facebook is as much as I can handle. #I’m Sorry

Although she says that her Twitter account has been “shut down,” that’s not entirely accurate. @MeganFox is still a functioning account, but she hasn’t tweeted since Wednesday. Here was her last dispatch:

Oh well. Twitter’s not for everybody, I guess.
