Most people credit their success to their own ambition but Megan Fox thinks otherwise. She credits her success to her lack of ambition.
Fox said that she never planned to be successful and while she likes making movies, she didn’t necessarily want to be famous.
“I’ve never been very ambitious, which is why it’s so bizarre that I’ve had any success,” she said. “Most people make three movies a year. I barely make one. Sometimes when you’re not hungry for something, amazing projects fall into your lap.”
Fox also said that she doesn’t understand why people get so uptight about her showing skin or being sexy in her movies. Fox said that she learned being sexy was just part of the job early on in her career and doesn’t think twice about it anymore.
“I don’t mind doing that stuff, I think that’s been a part of being an actress in Hollywood since the beginning,” Fox said. “I don’t feel ashamed or like I can’t be taken seriously while also wearing a tank top. If you don’t take me seriously when I’m wearing a tank top, that’s your f***ing problem.”

Fox plays April O’neil in the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film, which will open in theaters this weekend.
While Fox’s character in the film is pretty tame compared to some of her other roles, Fox said she was happy to play such a strong female character.
“[She's] a little less angsty, not darker, but a little less happy-go-lucky, super-sweet damsel in distress,” Fox explained.
“I couldn’t possibly relate to that,” she said of her character.
Do you think Megan Fox was the right choice to play April O’neil in the film?
