  • Paris Jackson, the daughter of late pop star Michael Jackson, attempted suicide earlier this week. According to new details released today by TMZ, the teen reportedly tried to overdose on an unnamed medication and “took a meat cleaver to her arm.” She survived the ordeal and is now recovering.

The suicide attempt reportedly came right after the 15-year-old Jackson was told she could not attend a Marilyn Manson concert. An argument followed, and the teen later posted short updates to her Twitter feed, including the question, “i wonder why tears are salty?” and lyrics to the Beatles song “Yesterday.”

Now, rock star Marilyn Manson has spoken out to Jackson, letting her known she is welcome at any of his concerts. Manson’s VIP concert packages include early access to shows, exclusive merchandise, and a meet and greet with the man himself, though the singer’s offer to Jackson implies even better treatment.

“I hope you feel better,” said Manson through TMZ. “You will be on my guest list anytime you want.”

Manson is currently touring throughout the U.S. He is scheduled to play the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles tonight with guest Alice Cooper.
