Lori Loughlin has confirmed--much to the chagrin of Michelle Tanner fans--that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen won't appear in the Full House reboot, Fuller House. Set to air via Netflix in 2016, there was some sort of conflict between producers--one of whom plays Lori Loughlin's husband Uncle Jesse--and the Olsen twins from the beginning. They claimed John Stamos didn't invite them to appear in the reboot. He immediately cried foul and said they were welcome any time.
Since then, speculation has run high as to whether the fashion designers would at the very least make guest appearances on Fuller House from time to time. Now Lori Loughlin explains that definitely won't be the case.

"No, I don't think they're going to make a cameo. They didn't this season," she said in a recent interview with the Huffington Post.
Lori Loughlin added that filming Fuller House took her back to her Full House days.
"After you got over the initial surreal experience of like, 'Wow, we're here again,' we sort of fell back into line exactly as we were," she said. "And we had a lot of laughs and a lot of good times and it was a lot like picking up right where we left off."
Loughlin added that the spinoff centers around Candace Cameron Bure (DJ Tanner), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner), and Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber). The rest of the Full House gang--yes, everyone who starred in the original series, except Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen--will appear from time to time throughout each season.

"So, for the very first episode we were all there...then we came on throughout the season and we each did different episodes on our own," Lori Loughlin explained. "I did one episode where it was just me and the girls...we were all in the first one, and then sprinkled out through the rest of the season."
It's likely that people aren't all that surprised by Lori Loughlin's confirmation about no Olsen twins in Fuller House. They have seemed in recent years like they believe they're above doing TV, and have fully immersed themselves in the world of fashion.
