  • Lisa Rinna and hubby Harry Hamlin have apologized via Instagram for the swastika on the Sid Vicious costume he wore for Halloween.

The couple attended the Casamigos tequila party on Friday night, wearing a couples costume inspired by Sid Vicious and his girlfriend Nancy Spungen–straight out of 1978. While Lisa Rinna’s costume featured black clothing and a wild blonde wig, Hamlin’s included a bright red t-shirt emblazoned with a black swastika.

Immediately after photos of the costume appeared online, Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin were blasted in an uproar of comments over the use of the anti-Semitic symbol.

“If I hurt you ❤️ we were being authentic to the characters of Sid and Nancy for our Halloween costumes. It hurt and angered many of you and we are deeply sorry for that. That was never our intention. We did not mean to offend. With love, Lisa and Harry,” Lisa Rinna captioned an apology photo on Monday morning.

Lisa Rinna’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills costar Kyle Richards still has a group photo from the Halloween party that included Rinna and Hamlin in it, posted to her Instagram account. Harry Hamlin has zipped up his jacket, obscuring the swastika in the photo, however.

“Some adult Halloween fun before trick or treating tomorrow @loriloughlin @mumansky18 #HarryHamlin @lisarinna ??” Richards captioned the shot.

Surely neither Lisa Rinna nor Harry Hamlin intended any harm when creating their Halloween costumes. Hopefully all who found Harry’s shirt offensive have accepted the apologies offered and moved on.
