  1. Considering Google they always good link form blog comments and they do appraise the ranking from different keywords. They count them as qualified backlink then why not bing don’t like the backlink of blog comments

  2. I only consider google when I am going to optimize my site in organic search result. When It comes to Ppc i use bing and yahoo both because it is cheaper than google and can get you good result like ROI

  3. I’m certainly no expert when it comes to SEO but I must confess that I only think of Google when attempting to optimise my site. Bing and Yahoo don’t figure hugely in my stats so I don’t really bother too much.

  4. I advertise to get high up in Google. I know nothing about Yahoo or Bing. It seems Yahoo takes there forums and groups first and foremost before anything else. Atleast in my industry so I haven’t started advertising directly to recieve high ranking for them. Bing is new to me mostly. I haven’t a clue what Bing expects but I hope what this blog says is true because I can aim advertising through them the same way I do Google without no worries. Good! I hope that is the case. As for Yahoo, I have started little trying to get better results over the past couple weeks and now I feel like it may have been a lost cause when I could have aimed that advertising more towards Google and Bing. Now Yahoo is talking about getting rid of bloglog which I absolutely love! Once that happens I have no need for Yahoo. Google is my homepage because it comes up quicker. It is my main concern with advertising because it is the main search engine, and I love it. I hope Bing is exactly like Google!

Over 9 years I have been interested in keeping abreast of SEO techniques and these same points, informative keyword/keyphrase rich content and quality inbound links have consistantly been the key factors in achieving high rankings. Don’t overdo the keyword density though. Nothing worse than reading sites that have sacrificed quality content readability for the sake of keyword stuffing. As another post mentioned, sounds like the same recommendations as Google.

  6. We had a period where I started Bing was the first position for the chosen keyword, then about 20 days to parent up page 5, in theory we made no change in site or something, had to make an intense promotion in May 4 to reajung into position on the first page but it is weird how you can help resist 3 Moat site to search different fall each optimization must be done differently?

  7. If the quality of and quickness of receiving inbound links was this important what’s to keep a competitor from posting our site’s link in 1000′s of ‘bad neighborhoods’ in an effort to get us penalized – i.e. irrelevant forums, blogs etc????

I have never understood this or heard a good argument for/against it.

  8. You you guys know how one would rank for yahoo or bing?
