Lindsay Lohan has been in the news quite a bit lately, between her new docu-series on OWN and the recent sex-list she released to the world which was chock full of famous names, but in the interviews she's given as part of the promotional blitz for the show, the troubled actress has been a lot more grounded than many thought she could be. In a recent sit-down with Ellen, Lohan spoke candidly about having to go to rehab and what it meant for her jail sentence.
"In the past — a lot of people don't know this, but — I was sent to rehab to avoid them trying to put me in jail, so it wasn't necessarily something that I wanted or was ready for," she says. "It was something that was kind of just going with the motions."
Lohan got a stern talking-to from Oprah in one episode of the docu-series, which included the media mogul telling the actress to "cut the bullshit" after she started not showing up for filming. But now, she says, she doesn't put herself into situations that will turn out badly for her because she's already seen them all.
"It's totally different now," she said. "It's strange. I also don't put myself in the same situations. There's nothing left for me in going out to a certain place if I know what it's going to result in. It's just not worth it to me."
