LeAnn Rimes and husband Eddie Cibrian had high hopes for their reality show, LeAnn & Eddie, which premiered in July of last year.
However, those hopes have been permanently smashed as the two of them just don't seem to have "it".
Whatever "it" is. Drama? Scandal? Nudity?
Oh, well. It's just too bad, because LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian really wanted LeAnn & Eddie to shed some light on what goes on in their lives.
I'm sure LeAnn Rimes was also hoping to polish up her reputation after their scandalous relationship came to light.
In the first episode, LeAnn Rimes admitted that she wanted to show the world that she was no "homewrecker".
Back in July, LeAnn Rimes said of the new show, "This show gave us an opportunity to take back our lives in a way and show a different side of us than what people really believe."
She added, "Look, if their minds are changed or opened or whatever, that's wonderful. But if not, I don't think we're really set up to change anyone's mind."
Eddie agreed and hoped that they would have fun, too.
He said, "Ultimately, we wanted to do a show and I think that this format and this genre, unscripted, gave us an opportunity to do something fun and work together."
Well, I hope it was fun while it lasted!
LeAnn & Eddie was a great way for fans to get a peek into their life, and focused a lot on the couple's decisions on starting a family.
"I know we were not planning on having a child right now, but I also do not want to miss what possibly could be my only opportunity to have a child naturally," 32-year-old LeAnn Rimes shared with Eddie during one episode.
"I know I do want to have a child with LeAnn," Cibrian later said. "If this is a decision we have to make right now because of her fertility than I say we should just do it."
Well, I guess the baby drama between LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian will just have to play out in the tabloids.
What do you think about LeAnn & Eddie being canceled? Will you miss it or are you glad there is now a spot for something worth watching?
