Leah Remini and bestie Jennifer Lopez recently hit up the pool together and posted the photographic evidence on J.Lo’s Instagram.

“Jen asked me to meet up by the pool, right,” Remini says in the video. “Here’s me – normal, look at this one. Head wrap. Jewelry. Can you be ugly once?! Can you be normal once?! You’re such a jerk off!”

“What?” is J.Lo’s innocent response.

She starts to laugh and then Remini launches a mock attack on her friend.

Lopez posted the video on Instagram with the following caption:

“Attacked at my own damn pool by @leahremini! #summerfun #besties #canubenormal #noIcant #gottakeepitsexy #familia”

Remini and Lopez have been friends for a while now.

Remini has said that Lopez supported her during her highly publicized exit from Scientology last summer.

J.Lo confirmed it during a March 21 appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show.

“Yeah, it was a tough moment for her. You know what I mean? It’s all she knew her whole life,” Lopez said. “When you’re raised a certain way and around people for a long time – whatever that is – it’s going to be hard.”

“We’re best friends.”

Remini, who is best known for her work on King of Queens where she starred as Carrie Heffernan from 1998 to 2007, isn’t afraid to address her decision to leave Scientology on her new reality show Leah Remini: It’s All Relative.

“My mother got involved when we were very young, so it’s all we really ever knew,” Remini said, echoing J.Lo’s comments to Degeneres. “But over time, my eyes opened and I could no longer be affiliated with the organization.”

The two friends recently returned from a trip to The Hamptons. While there, it was Lopez who caught Remini on video, secretly recording her friend jamming to a Jay-Z song that was playing on the radio while they were in the car together.

Good for Remini. And good for JLo. Any time you have to pursue your faith in a different venue than you were raised is terribly hard. But it doesn’t mean you don’t love God. Both may be actresses having a great time — but much more realistic and owning of their humanity than what I’ve seen of Scientology.

Their is no “god” in Scientology.

Their God is money and power! How original!

I agree, good for them both! Support from a best friend is huge in a difficult situation/transition like that!!

I wish I was JLo’s BFF and could hang with her by the pool. Just the view would be enough. Remini is not to bad either, talk about super MILF’s.
